Why I love shooting here: Walking onto the grounds of The Ribault Club feels like stepping back in time. The crisp white architecture and massive columns give off a sophisticated "Old Hollywood" energy that is a dream to photograph. Because it’s surrounded by protected parkland, the light is clean and the atmosphere is incredibly private—perfect for couples who want a classic, timeless aesthetic.

The Vibe: Sophisticated Estate with a "Plan B" Dream
Photographer’s Insight: We always hope for sun, but Azaleana Manor is one of the few places where I love when it rains. The interior library is one of the most stunning indoor ceremony or portrait backdrops in Northeast Florida. During a recent rainy shoot here, we used the moody, intellectual vibe of the library to create photos that felt editorial and intimate, proving that your wedding photos can be breathtaking regardless of the weather.

Photographer’s Insight: I’ve captured this venue in the cold and the rain, and it only added to the romance. Sugar Pointe is massive, and even on a "bad weather" day, the way the mist sits over the St Marys River is pure magic. The long pier and the "Sugar Shack" provide a rustic yet polished grit that looks amazing in photos. It’s proof that you don't need a massive ballroom to have a gallery full of "wow" moments.

The Vibe: Coastal History & Old World Charm
Photographer’s Insight: This venue is a dream because you get two iconic St. Augustine looks in one location. You have the world-famous oak canopy of Magnolia Avenue for portraits, and then a wide-open waterfront ceremony space on the Matanzas River. My favorite feature is the 600-foot pier—it’s perfect for capturing those "epic" wide shots of the couple against the water. Plus, the peacocks roaming the grounds add a unique, whimsical touch to the wedding gallery that you just won't find anywhere else!
